It’s Solana summer! A lot has been happening in the Solana blockchain, coupled with the hackathon that ended a few days ago. According to Solana Over 13,000 builders, designers, marketers, and operators submitted an impressive array of projects to the judges. That’s huge!

It’s safe to say Solana is the best thing happening to crypto right now. One of my favorite projects harnessing the power of Solana is grape.🦍 You can check out my first blog on grape here.

A lot of amazing features have been added to GrApe over the past few weeks. One of them is Grape access, it is a SPL gated community and Grape is the first and only server with grape access. In a simpler term, grape access lets members connect their social accounts to their wallets. This will let will lets users gain access and permission rights based on their wallet balances. This is a very important tool as a use-case of it is removing OG rights from those not hodling a particular amount of grape, I believe this will help shake off paper hands🤪. The grape access works on Solana blockchain, meaning it’s opened for all Solana projects.

One percent of the grape’s supply will be used for charity, and so far grape has sponsored @dfacademyfc, a charitable football/soccer academy, located in Lagos, Nigeria. No single person will disagree with me when I say I keep falling in love with grape over and over!😤

Grape’s total supply is 1,000,000,000. And 60% of it will be going to the community, 14% for community funding, 13% for the team, 7% for private sale, 5% liquidity, and 1% for charity. Looks smooth!
