After daily driving @UltimateApp for 6 days, here are my key reasons why it might be the best next-gen crypto wallet.
Intuitive/Simplified setup: From the beautiful animation that welcomes you the first time you open the app to the setup process, it was a quick and easy process importing my wallet to Ultimate.
User-Friendly: User experience is one of the factors that help in onboarding retaining and users and it’s safe to say Ultimate Wallet has one of the best user experiences with its beautiful interface where you can buy your favourite coins, swap over 10k tokens across Solana and Ethereum, and send tokens in a tap. I am also a fan of the chart, as it provides a visual representation of your wallet’s profit and loss (PnL). This information can be helpful for making informed investment decisions and tracking your overall performance.
Security: Ultimate wallet ensures the security and ease of access of users. From built-in privacy and device authentication to backing up your wallet to google drive and multi-seed-phrase compatibility. Security is essential for the success of Web3, and with support for Ledger rolling out soon (as promised by the team), it’s safe to say this is the ULTIMATE web3 app.
Cutting Edge Features: One of my favourite features is the filtered activity. This lets you filter the recent transactions performed in your wallet (e.g. swaps made, tokens send and received). A few other features that make it stand out are:
- Multichain support
- Detailed information on tokens in your wallet when you tap on them.
- The “Watch” feature as it helps you track wallet addresses, bringing the beautiful UI of Ultimate Wallet to any address.
- Domain support
They are actively building/shipping and they have active customer support, where you can ask for help and feature requests. So here are a few suggestions I feel would help improve the total experience:
- Watchlist for NFTs and assets, basically a place where one can track and monitor just assets regardless if one is holding them or not.
- A compulsory passcode for the wallet and use of the passcode to access seedphrase instead of device authentication.
- A show more button for NFTs just like assets has a show more button.
- Ability to see floor price of individual NFTs and list them too.
- A privacy button that hides the figures in one’s wallet and just only displays the asset.
- A chart for NFTs PnL
